Blues on Tues the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
"Dance, Dance, Dance to the music. The Band will adore you."
There is a brand new menu that will be changed seasonally – it includes vegetarian dishes and meat specials on the patio grill all very modestly priced.
I will be fronting these guys for a rockin' good time.

The Blues Matinee, Saturday afternoons from 3-6 from September to June, has been a fixture in Brantford for the past 17 years. It is one of longest running and most successful in Canada. It's origins go back to the Poor Folk's Deli with owners Dave Leyland and Scott Thorne. The original band consisted of Larry Goodhand on guitar, Gary Latimer on bass and Michael Fitzpatrick on drums. Michael moved on after the second year and Tyler Burgess took over for a few years, then Dexter Beauregard for a couple. Fitzpatrick returned in the 8th year and is still at the helm. In the 5th year Denis Rondeau replaced Gary Latimer and Denis is still on the job. Sadly, Larry Goodhand passed away in 2005. Denis and Michael are the house-band, backing up some of the finest Blues talent in Canada. After 10 years at the Deli it looked like the matinee had come to an end. New owner Mark Johnson informed the band that the Deli was closing it`s doors. Cheri Welsh, owner of Liquid Lounge called and asked the band if they would like to try the matinee at the Lounge. Without missing even one Saturday, the Liquid Lounge has hosted the Blues ever since. Now in its 7th year at the Lounge, the matinee is bigger and better than ever and shows no signs of slowing down. Thanks to Cheri`s hospitality, the matinee has evolved into a social club atmosphere for both the audience and the band and it's guests'. If you love the blues and plan to be in the southern Ontario area, this is "THE PLACE" to spend a Saturday afternoon.
